Sisters on a Move
Sisters On A Move (SOAM) organization was founded on February 14, 2002 on the campus of Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri. SOAM was then established at University of Nevada-Reno on March 25, 2010.
SOAM is an organization that was created for the uplifting, uniting, and motivation for students on campus as well as in the community. We aim to provide an environment where women from various backgrounds can come together in mind, body and soul. We encourage all women regardless of race, religion or creed to join us in our effort to spread sisterhood.
We strive to provide a sense of pride that can be carried throughout your everyday life.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Actually, who are you not to be?

We are all meant to shine, As children do. We were born to make manifest The glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; It's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we're liberated from our own fear, Our presence automatically liberates others.
